NORWALK BREWERY: LOVE FIGHTS BACK

The best collaborations connect culture, creativity, and community.

This limited-edition beer brought together Norwalk Brewhouse, Eagle Rock Brewery, and Los Angeles artist 2Mex around his song Love Fights Back. For the label design, I drew inspiration from traditional Huichol patterns, vibrant geometric artwork rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Wixárika people of western Mexico. The visual language felt like a natural bridge between the project's cultural roots and its creative energy. What made the collaboration especially meaningful was its purpose. Proceeds from the release benefited the Urban Peace Institute in Los Angeles, supporting efforts to build safer and stronger communities.
